KML, GPX, GeoJSON and CSV Map File Tools
This is the cluster to start with when you have a file rather than a coordinate. Open it with the KML viewer, the GPX viewer or the GeoJSON viewer, plot a spreadsheet with the CSV to map converter, and move between formats with the converters in the three sub-hubs below.
Files are parsed in your browser with native readers, so a track log does not have to leave your device to be counted, measured or converted. That constraint shapes what the tools do: they report what they can verify — point counts, bounding boxes, coordinate order, timestamp spans, elevation gain — and they say plainly where a conversion is lossy. KML styling and GroundOverlays do not survive a trip into GeoJSON, and a GPX file has no concept of polygons. Converting is a decision about what you are willing to lose, so each converter lists its edge cases.
The three sub-hubs group the micro-tools by format family, because that is how people search: GeoJSON tools, GPX tools and CSV, KML, WKT and polyline tools. For the concepts behind the formats, read the KML vs GeoJSON vs GPX guide.
